Wind Report (March 31, 2010)
The National Weather Service issued a wind advisory for Northern Arizona during the day. The advisory was allowed to expire at 7 PM. MST.
The weather service says the highest wind gust in the state today was recorded at Show Low, at 56 mph.
Rain and snow showers will develop later this evening and spread to eastern portions of Arizona later tonight, forecasters said.
Here are some peak wind gust reports for the day:
Show Low: 56 mph
Saint Johns: 53 mph
Flagstaff: 51 mph
Chino Valley: 47 mph
Doney Park: 46 mph
Sedona Airport: 45 mph
Williams: 44 mph
Grand Canyon Airport: 43 mph
Greer: 41 mph
Alpine: 40 mph
Prescott: 40 mph
Page: 38 mph
