AZ Winter Storm Snowfall Totals 2/28/2010
Light snow showers will linger this evening as a low pressure system moves away from Arizona, according to the National Weather Service in Flagstaff.
Storm total snowfall accumulations from Saturday evening through Sunday at 6 PM include:
Groom Creek near Prescott received 6 inches as of 6 PM Sunday, the weather service said.
5 inches fell in Forest Lakes, Arizona, in Coconino County, and 5 inches in Alpine, the National Weather Service said. Four inches were measured in Crown King, Arizona, in Yavapai County, followed by 4 inches in Strawberry and 4 inches in Mormon Lake, the agency said.
Other storm total snowfall amounts include:
Williams 3.5 inches
Munds Park 3 inches
Grand Canyon North Rim 2 inches
Grand Canyon South Rim 2 inches
Pinetop 1 inch
