Northwest Maricopa County, Greater Phoenix area, Southern Gila County, Tonto National Forest Foothills, Southwest Maricopa County, Northwest and North Central Pinal County including the cities of Buckeye, New River, Wickenburg, Mesa, Phoenix, Globe, Miami, San Carlos, Superior, Top of the World, Gila Bend, Apache Junction, Casa Grande and Florence.
The National Weather Service in Phoenix has issued a wind advisory which is in effect from 4 p.m. to 11 p.m. MST Monday.
The weather service says winds will increase by late afternoon. Peak winds will be during the evening hours. Forecast calls for southwest to west winds 20 to 30 mph with gusts up to 45 mph.
